How to auto-apply across job boards and career sites
Save your application kit once, reuse it across supported browser-based application flows, and keep the final review in your hands.
What “auto-apply” actually means
Auto-applying means letting a tool complete the repetitive parts of an application—contact details, work history, links, résumé uploads, and familiar screening questions—from information you have already provided. The goal is to remove repeated typing while you still choose the role and review what will be submitted.
A useful workflow should follow the application beyond one job board or one apply-button format. Some roles use a compact flow such as LinkedIn Easy Apply; others move into a longer ATS-hosted or employer career-site application.
1. Save your application profile
Add your contact details, work history, résumé, links, and preferred answers in the Propel desktop app. This becomes the application kit Propel can reuse across supported job-board, ATS, and employer career-site forms.
2. Connect the application in Chrome
Install the Propel Bridge extension and pair it with the desktop app. The extension works with the application shown in your browser, while the desktop app provides your saved profile and runs the application workflow.
3. Open a role you want to apply for
Start from a job board or employer career site and open the actual application. LinkedIn Easy Apply is one supported example, but Propel is designed as a browser agent for supported application flows across the web rather than as a LinkedIn-only tool.
4. Let Propel handle the repeat work
Propel reads the live form, fills mapped details from your application kit, attaches requested materials, reuses saved answers when they match, and moves through supported multi-page steps. It also keeps a record of the application so you do not have to rebuild your own tracker.
Coverage follows the application that opens. For example, a job found on Indeed may stay in an Indeed-hosted flow or open a different employer or ATS form, and not every variation is currently supported.
5. Review before submission
Check the employer, role, selected résumé, contact details, and screening answers before anything is sent. If a required answer is unknown, or email or login verification, 2FA or CAPTCHA, or an unsupported control appears, take over in the browser and continue when the page is ready.
Make the next application easier
Install the desktop app and Chrome bridge, save your application kit once, and let Propel take the repeat work through supported forms while the page stays visible for review.
